Toddler Found Alive in Suitcase on New Zealand Bus

This is one of the most shocking travel stories I’ve come across in a while. A 2-year-old girl was found inside a suitcase on a bus in Kaiwaka, New Zealand. The bus driver noticed the luggage moving and, when he opened it, discovered the child inside. Thankfully, she was alive and just overheated. Police arrested a 27-year-old woman and charged her with child neglect.

The situation is still under investigation, and the woman’s connection to the child hasn't been revealed. I’m honestly shaken by how close this came to ending tragically. Big respect to the driver who acted quickly. It’s a harsh reminder of how unpredictable travel can be, even in places like New Zealand. Anyone else ever witness something bizarre or disturbing while traveling?
