I love when articles shine a light on places beyond the usual Dubai skyscrapers and Riyadh malls. The GCC has so many underrated spots that don’t get nearly enough attention. Places like Al Sogara in Oman or the Farasan Islands in Saudi Arabia sound like the kind of quiet, authentic escapes that are getting harder to find.
I’m especially intrigued by spots like Shees Village and the Hatta Secret Pool. It’s refreshing to see parts of the UAE highlighted that aren’t just about luxury shopping and big resorts.
