Booked LAX–DFW for tonight, app showed me the travel credit options so I picked the highest one. About 20 mins later AA calls asking if I’ll move to tomorrow since tonight’s overbooked. I figured it was tied to the credit, so I agreed.
They rebooked me… and no credit ever showed up. Called in and was told nothing was applied, and I’d have to wait until after travel to even complain. No guarantee of anything. Pretty frustrating.
