Wild how the averages end up way below the posted fare once you factor passes, caps, free transfers, seniors/students even fare evasion. Also funny seeing LA at both extremes: Metrolink pricey, LA Metro super cheap per km. Makes the whole “it’s $2.90 a ride” thing feel not the full story.
