Guy sits down in the middle seat and just… shoves his carry on between his legs. Overhead bins nearby are closed, but there are clearly other open ones.
I figured a FA would shut that down immediately. Nope. Three of them walk by, glance around, say nothing. I even tried subtly pointing right at it and somehow I’m invisible.
Doors close, bins are now “full,” and only then do I get dramatic enough to finally get attention. FA comes over to tell me to buckle up, and I have to literally point at the bag. Then suddenly it’s a huge deal and we’re stopping everything to reshuffle overhead space.
Passengers really shouldn’t have to do the policing. If we do though, free cookie feels fair.
