This Weird Rideshare Hack at the Airport Actually Saved Me $30

So, I stumbled across a Reddit post where someone noticed Uber was charging $30 more just for selecting Delta as their airline to JFK compared to Virgin Atlantic, even though both fly from the exact same terminal! Wild, right?

I decided to test it for myself flying out of LAX and didn’t see much of a difference, but it definitely made me curious. Next time I’m just choosing the cheapest airline listed on the app even if I’m not flying it. Also, apparently if you're flying Delta, getting dropped off at Terminal 1 and walking saves a few bucks and gets you a solid 10-minute stroll.

Has anyone else tried this trick or seen weird price gaps like this? Is it Uber shenanigans or just a glitch?
