I’ve stayed at three Kimpton properties over the last two months and figured I’d share what I got when I used the secret password “The life of a Kimpton Guest” at check in.
Kimpton Rowan in Palm Springs: got to pick a Christmas ornament off a tree. That ornament came with a coin for a vending machine, which gave me a mini bottle of Moet. Drank it. No regrets.
Kimpton Fitzroy in London: easily the best one. At check in they had Kimpton themed tarot cards. I picked one and later they delivered a full bottle of champagne to my room in an ice bucket. I didn’t get to drink it myself but passed it along to a friend.
Kimpton Taconic in Vermont: smaller but still nice. A little goodie bag with a hand warmer, chapstick, hand lotion, and a granola bar.
Nothing life changing, but a fun touch and definitely made check in more memorable. If you’re staying at a Kimpton, might as well try it before it expires Feb 28, 2026.
