Never thought I’d be saying this, but here we are. Paying to select seats that are already 35% more expensive feels like the final straw. What happened to Southwest? It used to be everything you wanted in an airline.
I’ve flown SW hundreds of times over the past decade, including 30 flights in 2025 alone. Free bags, simple pricing, no nonsense. That was the whole point. Now it feels like every other airline, just without the perks that made it worth sticking around.
I’m canceling my card and jumping ship. I’m honestly over it.
So where is everyone going next? Delta? United? Somewhere else? Curious what people are actually happy with these days.
