Just learned that Southwest’s fastest aircraft is the Boeing 737 MAX 8, cruising at Mach 0.79 and hitting top speeds of Mach 0.82! I recently flew it from Dallas to LAX and definitely noticed the smoother ride and spacious feel with those Sky Interiors. Even the overhead bins felt roomier.
As someone who flies budget often, it’s cool to see Southwest banking its future on these jets. With over 250 in service and hundreds more on the way, the airline’s sticking to its all-737 game strong. Anyone else noticed a difference flying the MAX vs older 737s? Curious to hear your experience!
