Dynamic pricing hurts (I kid), but I’m genuinely confused and frustrated.
I was trying to book a flight with Delta Air Lines, and the fare shown in the app keeps increasing right at the payment stage. It jumps by about $1200 per passenger when I try to actually pay.
It almost feels like the price changes between selecting the fare and final checkout, which makes it really hard to know what I’m actually committing to.
Has anyone else experienced sudden price increases like this during booking with Delta Air Lines? Is this normal dynamic pricing behavior, or could it be a glitch with the app?
