That 15% Southwest credit card discount feels fake

Got an email saying “thank you for being a Rapid Rewards credit cardmember” and offering a 15% discount code. Sounded nice, so I checked.

Looked up the flight while not logged in. Then logged in, applied the 15% code, and… exact same price. No difference at all. The so called discounted fare matched the regular fare perfectly.

That’s not a discount, that’s just playing games with pricing and hoping people don’t notice. Pretty insulting honestly.

Definitely worth double checking fares before assuming these promos actually save you anything.
