My original trip was supposed to be a nonstop flight on an A319, but I woke up and found out it had been cancelled and I had been rebooked.
Normally a cancellation would be frustrating, but this one unexpectedly worked out in a way I was pretty excited about as an avgeek.
It ended up checking off two things from my aviation bucket list:
A trip through Newark
Flying on a Boeing 757
Not the way I expected it to happen, but I will gladly take it. Thanks United for accidentally helping me cross a couple of aviation goals off the list.
