Looking at doing San Antonio to Rochester by train since flying isn’t an option for me right now. It’s about a 50 hour trip with a pretty long layover in the middle. I’d be in a regular coach seat, not a roomette.
Curious how people feel about overnight Amtrak in coach for something this long. Is it doable comfort-wise or just kind of miserable after a day or two? Any tips for making it easier?
