I’m supposed to fly DUB to ZRH to HKG tomorrow on Swiss, but Typhoon Ragassa is hitting right when I’d land. Almost every flight into HKG that day is already canceled, Disneyland is even closing, but Swiss still shows my flight as “on time.”
Problem is, I’ve already rebooked another way to get into China. I just need Swiss to officially cancel so I can get a refund. If they don’t do it until after the first leg departs, people will be stranded in Zurich for days. If I skip the first leg and they only cancel the second, I’m worried I’ll lose refund eligibility.
Called Swiss multiple times and they just keep saying no update. Super frustrating.
