SWISS plans to resume Tel Aviv flights from June 23

Swiss (and the entire Lufthansa Group) will resume daily flights between Zurich and Tel Aviv from June 23, 2025, after grounding routes due to safety fears following the May missile incident at Ben Gurion Airport. Flights were halted through June 22 as the airline awaited clearance from authorities.

This marks a cautious return following the May 4 Houthi missile strike, which injured several people and led to airport closures. It’s great to see air links restored—but security concerns are still top-tier. Anyone planning a trip via Zurich–Tel Aviv route—are you feeling reassured or still wary? Would love to hear if you’ve flown this route recently or are thinking about it!
