I think I may have been scammed with a booking for a stay in London. A friend made the reservation, but there are several red flags that make me believe the listing might not be legitimate.
The property has no reviews, no cancellation policy, and the address is supposedly only provided one day before arrival by the host. Because of these factors, I strongly suspect the place may not actually exist.
I’m now unsure what to do. Is there still a chance the accommodation is real, and if not, what steps should we take to minimize the damage?
