I recently went on a short MSC cruise departing from the UK and honestly had a really positive experience overall.
The food was good, the entertainment was excellent, and the ship itself was beautiful. It did feel a bit crowded at times, but I expected that given it was a short “mini cruise.”
Service was generally solid as well. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about MSC online, but my experience didn’t really match that.
I’m also part Italian and enjoy more authentic Italian cuisine rather than heavily adapted “American-style” Italian food, and I actually found the food onboard to be quite authentic, which may have influenced my impression.
I’m just a bit confused about where all the bad reviews are coming from compared to what I experienced.
