I never expected to see the Pacific Surfliner completely sold out, but that’s what I’m running into while trying to book a trip from Los Angeles Union Station to Anaheim.
At the moment, I’m stuck in downtown LA because I can’t find any available seats. It’s surprising to see this level of demand, and it feels like the service is being heavily used, possibly due to increased travel activity ahead of major events.
Update:
There are now reports suggesting disruptions on the line, and Metrolink has indicated that service may be affected due to an incident involving a person being struck by a train between Moorpark and Simi Valley.
