I got stranded in India after Swiss told me at check-in they could see my booking, but it wasn’t properly linked or confirmed on their side, so they wouldn’t let me fly.
Spent the last week getting bounced between Swiss, United, and my travel agency trying to figure out who was actually supposed to fix it. At one point Swiss even claimed I was a no-show, which was wild because I was literally there at the airport.
Good news is United finally sorted it out and gave me a flight back to the US without making me pay again. Total mess, but at least it got fixed in the end.
