Stuck in CDG after cancellation. What would you do?

Had a nonstop CDG to BOS for Feb 24, around $600. Blizzard cancelled it.

Under EU261 I thought I could be re routed at the earliest opportunity, even on another airline if needed. But I’ve talked to three JetBlue agents and they all say my only options are a refund or the next JetBlue or partner flight in my fare class. That’s Feb 28.

Meanwhile Delta has seats days earlier, just way more expensive.

Has anyone actually gotten JetBlue to rebook them on a non partner under EU261? Did you pay out of pocket and fight for reimbursement later, or is that just asking for a headache?

Also, is there even a staffed JetBlue desk at CDG worth going to?
