I’ve been trying to find a Facebook group for my upcoming Virgin Voyages cruise, but I keep running into the same issue. The few groups I’ve found are all run by travel agents, and instead of real discussions, they’re filled with constant promotional posts and ads for other sailings.
This will be my first time cruising with Virgin, so I was hoping to find a group where people could share experiences, tips, and connect before the trip. Instead, it just feels like a marketing space rather than a community.
I know I could start my own group, but since I’m new to Virgin Voyages, I don’t feel confident doing that without prior experience.
Are cruise groups usually like this, or are there better places to find more genuine, traveler-focused discussions?
