I’m in Minnesota right now and honestly, the weather has been wild. Earlier today some towns got hit with 3–6 inches of rain, and flash flooding has already popped up. Now the forecast says another round of storms is rolling in tonight, with heavy rain hitting the Twin Cities late and even a tornado risk further southwest. A flood watch is on until Monday morning, so it could make for a messy commute if you’re on the road.
I had planned a late-night drive toward the metro but I’m second-guessing it. I’ve been caught in Midwest storms before, and flash floods are no joke. Do you guys usually push through bad weather when traveling, or would you sit it out and wait for conditions to clear?
