Was supposed to fly into MSP last night to meet friends for a weekend up north, but the minute we landed, everything felt off airport half dark, rain coming down sideways, and lightning flashing like it was showing off. We sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes, only to find out the house we rented was without power and the whole area was under tornado and flash flood warnings.
It’s wild to think how fast the weather can flip in Minnesota. I’ve seen snow in May here, but this was the first time I’ve had a summer trip derailed by back-to-back tornado alerts. Anyone else stuck in the metro during this? Power back yet?
