I just checked out of the brand-new Park Hyatt in KL and wow what a spot. It’s up in the Merdeka 118 tower, so the views over the city are insane. I booked a suite that was going for about $1,000 cash, but on World of Hyatt points it was only 32k. Felt like a total steal.
The whole place still has that “new hotel” shine. Service was polished, room design was sleek, and the skyline at night from that high up was something else. If you’ve got Hyatt points to burn, this is one of the better redemptions I’ve made.
