I stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian earlier this year thinking it’d be the crown jewel of my trip. Don’t get me wrong the place is stunning, especially at night with the lights reflecting off the water. But after a few days, I started to question if it was really worth the price. Getting to my room meant trekking outdoors through the Florida heat, and the Monorail being the last stop after Magic Kingdom made late nights a drag.
I also didn’t expect the lobby to be flooded with non-guests during holiday events. The gingerbread house was cool, but I paid deluxe prices for what sometimes felt like a public photo-op zone.
If you’re EPCOT-focused or just want more peace and convenience, there might be better choices. Anyone else had the same experience or totally loved it?
