Went to the Netherlands for conferences thinking I’d only be there a week. Ended up staying a full month. After two weeks I’d done all the usual Amsterdam stuff and day trips, wasn’t sure what else to do.
Then I met a local family outside the city who invited me to their farm. Next thing I know I’m feeding animals, fixing fences, and learning how to make cheese. Totally random, not part of any plan, but honestly the best part of my whole month.
