I just saw the USA Today list of the top 10 state fairs and it totally brought back memories from the Iowa and Minnesota fairs both absolutely lived up to the hype. Iowa’s butter cow is iconic, and Minnesota’s fair feels like a full-blown city of food and fun. Honestly, each of these fairs has something wild to offer, from Alaska’s giant veggies to Texas’ over-the-top fried creations.
Curious what’s your go-to fair? Or which one do you think is the most underrated? I’ve been meaning to check out the Washington and Indiana ones next. If you’ve been, what’s the must-eat snack or ride?
