Starlux charged me $50 just to add my second last name

Heads up for anyone flying Starlux. I spent about 30 minutes with customer service trying to add my second last name to my ticket.


At first they told me it wasn’t possible and that I’d need to cancel and rebook entirely. After pushing back, they eventually agreed to add it, but only after charging a $50 reissue fee.


The agent herself was actually very nice and clearly just following policy, but still frustrating. Lesson learned: make sure your full last name is entered exactly as it appears on your passport when booking, or it’s going to cost you.
