Just wanted to share my experience on a couple of Air France planes equipped with Starlink.
E190 on an intra Europe flight had WiFi 5 access points and I was getting around 100 down / 50 up.
A350 900 on a Europe to South America flight had WiFi 6 access points and I saw about 400 down / 60 up.
Not trying to brag, but this felt like a total game changer. I was working, streaming video, even pulling stuff from my own Plex server, and it just worked. No drops, no reconnecting, no frustration. Just fast, stable internet the whole time.
I already use Starlink at home, so I know what it can do, but after years of terrible inflight WiFi this was honestly eye opening. Proof that good internet in the air is possible.
If your AF flight has Starlink and you’ve got a FB account to log in, you’re in for a really nice surprise.
