SQ moved my husband’s seat on our honeymoon flight

Flying Singapore Airlines Business Class and we’d picked seats 19D/F together. Our reservation even noted it was our honeymoon.


Right before boarding, the gate agent reassigned my husband’s seat without asking “to accommodate a family,” but there’s no infant or kid anywhere near that row. If it was for a bassinet, I’d totally get it, but this just feels unnecessary.


We’re still next to each other, just not in the seats we chose. Not the end of the world, but still frustrating. Does SQ do this often? Would it bother you too?
