We fly to Hawaii every spring break, same route every year. Long Beach out on Easter Sunday, stay a week. Last year it was about $1,700 for four tickets, which was already up a lot from the year before.
Checked this year and it’s showing $7,500 for the same four tickets. Seven. Thousand. Five. Hundred.
Looked from LAX too and it’s basically the same story. I know demand is high, but this feels absurd. Nothing about the trip changed except the price exploding.
