Quick question about how same-day standby works with Spirit, especially with Silver status.
I currently have a flight booked at 8 AM, but there’s another one leaving at 6 AM that I’d rather take if possible. Just wondering how the process actually works.
Do you have to show up at the airport and ask to be put on standby for the earlier flight? Or is there any way to tell ahead of time if there might be seats available, like by looking at the seat map?
Trying to figure out if it’s worth heading to the airport earlier or if it’s basically just a gamble.
