We’re booked ORF to MCO round trip in a couple weeks. Lately this route has been canceled a lot and I’m starting to wonder if we should just cut our losses.
Tonight NK1531 MCO to ORF is canceled… but NK8891 is operating on the exact same route.
Does that usually mean crew issues? Like maybe not enough FAs for one flight but they still need the aircraft in position for the morning? Or is it something else operational?
I’ve had some rough luck with Spirit before so my confidence isn’t super high. We used miles so it was basically free, but now I’m second guessing it.
Anyone know why they’d cancel one flight number but run another on the same route?
