Spirit canceled my flight due to a “disruption”, what does that even mean?

Had my LGA to Columbus flight canceled this morning because it was “disrupted.” That’s literally all the app said. Every other Spirit flight before Christmas was sold out, so I had to rebook with another airline for way more money.

Anyone know what a “disruption” actually means with Spirit? Weather? Crew issue? Just sounds like a mystery word for “you’re not flying today.
