Had an EWR to FLL flight canceled last night. Rebooked for today but had to switch to LGA. That one got canceled too around midnight. After that, no options from either airport to fly today.
Customer service says both were weather related, but it was clear in NYC and FLL. Spirit’s own weather advisory didn’t list either airport, and plenty of other flights still flew the route.
Because it’s “weather,” they say no meal vouchers or anything. This feels like a stretch, but maybe I’m missing something?
