Had a BLR to DEL flight on 22 Nov at 5:55. I hadn’t done web checkin, and before I even left for the airport I got a call saying I could either take my fare back plus 5k or fly 48 hours later. I picked the compensation and booked another flight for the next day.
Then SpiceJet called again saying I could only cancel for a full refund and the earlier compensation promise wasn’t guaranteed. I cancelled since I didn’t want to lose the fare, but now I’m just hoping they honor the 5k too. I have the recording.
Anyone dealt with something like this?
