I’m losing my mind over this. Been traveling around Spain for more than a month and almost every place claims to have heating. In reality it’s just an AC unit on “heat” mode blowing lukewarm air at the ceiling while the rest of the room stays freezing. Bathrooms are the worst. I honestly can’t remember the last comfortable shower I had.
Doesn’t matter where I book. Airbnb, Booking, Kindred, Facebook groups. Same story everywhere. The insulation is basically nonexistent, so the apartment somehow feels colder than the outside air. I’ve stayed in Denmark in January and felt warmer indoors than I do here.
At this point, finding a portable electric radiator feels like winning the lottery. I get that these places are designed for summer, but winter living like this is miserable.
