I recently received another flexibility offer from Southwest, and it appears the compensation has increased from the $20 offers I had seen previously to $30.
It makes me wonder whether the earlier offers weren't attracting enough interest, prompting the airline to raise the amount slightly. Even so, when I calculate the value against the extra travel time involved, it works out to roughly $5 per additional hour of travel for my itinerary, which doesn't exactly make the offer hard to resist.
