I don’t get who Southwest thinks they’re fooling with this whole reshuffle. It just feels like a straight money grab.
I’m a casual flyer. I don’t care about status, boarding games, or flexing. I fly a few times a year and Southwest used to be perfect. Decent prices, simple boarding, checked bags. Easy.
Now I’m seeing like $600 roundtrip STL to MCO just so I can pick a seat. A seat I would’ve had anyway, just a few rows back. Nothing premium about it.
I’m booking anything but Southwest at this point. And honestly, I’m half convinced the people defending these changes are paid to be here.
