Southwest flight jolts hard after near miss - passengers shaken, crew hurt

That 300-foot drop on the Southwest flight out of Burbank sounds terrifying. I’ve had turbulence before, but this wasn’t weather it was a traffic alert avoidance maneuver. People not buckled flew out of their seats, two crew members were hurt, and the plane kept going to Vegas like nothing happened. Feels like near misses are getting more common lately, and I’m not sure our airspace systems are keeping up.

Honestly, starting to rethink grabbing that exit row seat if I’m not planning to stay buckled the whole time. Anyone else feel like these incidents are ramping up?
