Flying through Austin has always been one of my favorite experiences, so hearing that Southwest wants to anchor the new Concourse B at ABIA has me hyped. If they pull it off, we’re talking about more gates, more flights, and possibly smoother travel days especially with that new tunnel connecting terminals and extra amenities in the works.
I already use Southwest a ton for regional hops, and with 128 daily flights planned this fall, Austin is clearly a growing hub. Anyone else excited about this expansion? Or a bit worried about how it might impact the airport’s already packed terminals?
