Southwest Airlines will begin nonstop service to Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport (Santa Rosa, CA) starting April 7, 2026, adding nonstop routes to San Diego, Las Vegas, Denver, and Burbank. San Diego and Las Vegas will have daily flights, with additional peak-day service to San Diego; Burbank will operate five days a week and Denver on Saturdays. This expansion marks Southwest’s 14th destination in California and deepens access for travelers in Northern California’s wine country. Airport officials welcomed the addition, citing strong community demand and interest for a major carrier to serve Sonoma County directly.
