I’m 39M traveling around the Philippines solo and I swear if I got 1 peso every time someone asked “you’re traveling alone?” followed by a shocked “why?!” I could probably pay for a Cebu to Manila flight.
It’s not even rude, just genuine disbelief. Like the concept of choosing to travel solo is confusing.
Maybe I’ll blend in more in Manila. But right now I feel like a walking FAQ.
