Booked my Japan trip for June 2026 using the Chase 40 percent bonus and figured I’d share the DP. I wasn’t chasing business this time, just wanted solid economy space.
Found IAD to HND on 6/5 for 32500 Virgin miles and 178.50. Return on 6/26 for the same miles and 254.03. Whole thing came out to 47k Chase points and 432.53 cash.
Longer trip than I first planned but honestly pretty excited.
