Just wrapped up my ICN–ATL leg on Delta’s A350 and it was honestly one of the smoothest long hauls I’ve had. Boarding was easy, the load wasn’t too heavy, and I lucked out with a seat where I could stretch a bit. The cabin felt quiet and spacious compared to some of the older birds I’ve flown, and that made a huge difference on such a long stretch.
Watching the flight map crawl across the Pacific is always kind of surreal hours and hours over water until you finally hit Alaska and the mainland. Service was steady, meals were decent, and I just kept myself entertained with movies and some downloaded podcasts. Landing back in ATL felt easier than expected, and overall it was a solid way to get home.
