Ran into a really frustrating situation today with Delta SkyClub.
I tried to use a guest pass for my wife, but was told I couldn’t because I’ve already used my 15 included visits with the Reserve card. The kicker is they confirmed I still have 4 guest passes sitting in my account that I literally cannot use, even if I’m willing to pay the $50 for my own entry.
I asked where this is actually spelled out, because the terms just talk about a “visit” and don’t clearly distinguish between free vs paid visits. Nothing I’ve seen makes it obvious that guest passes become unusable once you hit the cap.
Even the SkyClub agent seemed annoyed by the rule, which says a lot. It just feels unnecessarily restrictive and poorly explained.
If this is clearly documented somewhere, I’ll happily admit I missed it. But right now it just feels like Delta quietly devalued these passes into dead weight.
