Looking at flights from the US to Dublin this summer and the price difference is pretty crazy. A direct one way to Dublin is around $1400 in economy.
But flights to other European cities that connect through Dublin are only about $400 to $600, even though the first leg is the exact same flight to Dublin.
Thinking about booking the cheaper ticket and just not taking the second flight after landing in Dublin. No checked bags and no return flight with Aer Lingus either.
Curious if Aer Lingus actually enforces anything against this or tries to charge a fare difference if the connection is skipped.
