My travel style is focused more on relaxing experiences like dining at great restaurants, shopping, spa treatments, and avoiding overly crowded tourist spots. A private onsen is also important, especially since my husband has full-body tattoos, which can limit access to public baths.
I am also exploring alternatives such as The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, but I am unsure how it compares in terms of value, location, and overall experience. Being a Diamond Elite member with IHG Hotels & Resorts also plays a role in my decision.
I would appreciate recommendations on whether Six Senses is worth it or if there are better luxury options in Kyoto that align with this type of trip.
