Saw the Simple Flying piece about Alaska taking delivery of its 12th MAX 8. Typical SF fluff, but they listed AS as having 13 MAX 9s on firm order plus a bunch of MAX 10s and options.
I thought Alaska was done with MAX 9 orders and basically waiting for the MAX 10 once certification happens. SEC filings show no MAX 9 deliveries expected from 2025–2027, so the SF info feels off.
Anyone know if they really still have MAX 9s in the pipeline, or is SF just recycling old numbers?
