The empty bottle tip is one of those things that sounds obvious but saves so much money and hassle. Most airports really do have fountains if you look, and that Water at Airport site is surprisingly useful.
My go to tips are way less glamorous. Screenshot your boarding pass even if you have the app. Wear shoes that slip on and off easily. And never trust airport WiFi for anything important unless you have a backup.
None of this makes travel fun, but it definitely makes it less annoying.
